Prayer: Romans 8:26 - Likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered.

There are also two very important items to utilize in our prayer life. The word of God and a pen and tablet. God is going to speak. Look it up, write it down. What he has to say is more important than anything the world has to offer.

    4.4.2020

To Be Thankful: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus, concerning you.

Not only should we be thankful for the blessings from God, but, we should be thankful in every situation. Trials, tribulations, and yes even when we fall into temptation. Give all these things to God and begin to thank him. Answers will come, but in Gods time frame. Do not get discouraged. Do not take back upon yourselves what you have already given to him. He will answer prayer.

    4.9.2020

Trust in God: Proverbs 3: 5,6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths.

Some choices we make in life seem fantastic when we are looking at them from our own perspective. If they are not Gods will, we will grow to regret them. If we reject the Holy Spirits leadership and insist on doing things are own way, the Lord will let us face the consequences until we learn to repent and turn back to him. Remember, every trial is an opportunity to discover what God wants us to see.

    4.16.2020

Acknowledge God: Galations 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.

To acknowledge God is to surrender completely to him. That means we lay aside our own preferences, opinions, feelings, and pleasures, we submit and put our complete and total trust in him.

    4.23.2020

Be not Conformed to  this World: Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

In our Christian life, we ought to serve and worship God according to the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Not mans leadership and guidance !!  This includes Church.  The true Church, which is the body of Christ, was set in place for the sole purpose of salvation, teaching and admonishing one another in fellowship with God, and to share that salvation with others. It is not meant, for man, to conform us to some form or standard of religion or religious worship. Religion does not get us into heaven. Salvation brings Eternal Life.

    4.30.2020

Godly Change: Philippians 1:27 - 28 - ....that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in anyway terrified of your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that is from God.

Events and circumstances cannot change Gods world, only God can change his world. Sadly, events do change people. God creates and allows events and circumstances as to make changes to his world, all the while, expecting his people, not to change, but, to continue to follow his eternal plan, salvation.

    5.7.2020

Remain Faithful: 2 Timothy 2: 11 - 13 - This is a faithful saying: For if we died with him, we shall also live with him. If we endure, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will deny us. If we are faithless, he remains faithful, he cannot deny himself.

Just as Christ remains faithful to us through all circumstances. We as Christians need to remain faithful to our fellow man. Faithful to the needs of the salvation of others. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul. Believers !! Remain Faithful in your labor of love, someones eternal life is counting on it.

    5.14.2020

Indwelling Work of the Holy Spirit: Titus 3:5,....according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior....

Salvation is only the beginning to our eternal relationship with God and our fellowman. In order to mature in the outpouring of his spirit, in order for there to be a great movement of his spirit, we as Christians must be obedient to God. After all, we are the vessels that the Holy Spirit dwells in.

    5.21.2020

The Willingness of Christ: Luke 22: 42,....Father, if it is your will, take thus cup away from me, nevertheless not my will, but yours be done....

As Christians, often times in our lives, God puts before us that which would seem to be painful and filled with humiliation. Do not be selfish, do not push it away, but, have the willingness of Christ to except what God has given. He is going to use it for the salvation of all.

    5.28.2020

Spiritual Desire: Romans 13: 11 - 13,....and do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep. For now our salvation is nearer than we first believed....let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly....

Never lose the desire to: love others as God loved us, give sacrifice and service to everyone just as Christ gave his all on the cross, and comfort one another according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. To show the goodness of our salvation through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    6.4.2020

Heavenly Perception: Deuteronomy 4: 35 - 36,....To you it was shown, that you might know the Lord himself is God, there is none other beside him. Out of heaven he let you hear his voice, that he might instruct you, on earth he showed you his great fire, and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.

As Christians, we should always be listening with spiritual ears, seeing through spiritual eyes, and believing with a redeemed spiritual heart.

    6.11.2020

Gods Word for Me: Romans 15:4,....for whatever things were written before, were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Every word God gives me, is for me. For something in my life, it must start with me. Then, to share with the world around me....I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

    6.18.2020

Help Wanted: Luke 10:2,....the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few, therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers to his harvest.

Help Wanted - Starting Pay, Salvation, debt free, Christ paid our debt in full on the cross - Benefits Package, Eternal life, no more pain, no sorrow, no sickness, rejoice evermore - Start Date, immediately, except Christ as your personal savior, confess with your mouth, believe with your heart - Simple and easy - No testing required - Come as you are.

    6.25.2020

To Be Humble: 1 Peter 5: 6 - 7,....therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon him for he cares for you....

Thank you Lord for all things, Help me Lord to be humble in all things, Give me strength Lord to trust you with all things, most of all, for the things in my life that are not pleasing to you, forgive me Lord, for everything.

    7.2.2020

Opportunity from God: Galations 6: 9 - 10,....and let us not grow weary while doing good. For in due season, we shall reap, if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all....

All opportunity comes from God. All that he ask of us, is that we allow him, to become the greatest part, of the opportunity, that he has given unto us.

    7.9.2020

Status Quo: Luke 12: 18 - 20,....so he (man) said, I will do this, I will pull down my barns and build greater....and I will say to my soul....eat, drink, and be merry....but, God said to him, fool, this night your soul will be required of you, then whose will these things be....

As we live our life upon this earth, please remember, that a few years of worldly fame and fortune now, is not worth an eternity of separation from God, in Hell.

    7.16.2020

Spiritual Courage: 1 Corinthians 13: 13,....and now abides faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these is love....

As Christians, we have spiritual courage, which is bestowed upon us, by salvation, through Gods love. We must learn through obedience to his word, to offer up this spiritual encouragement to others, with Gods love.

    7.23.2020

The Words Which We Speak: 1 Corinthians 2: 2 - 5,....for I determined not to know anything among you, save Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of mans wisdom, but in demonstration of spirit and of power, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

As Christians, our greatest asset is simply salvation, which comes to us as a free gift, because of Gods great love. As we feel the need to declare something to others, then why not let it be that, which is most important to us all, Christ and him crucified.

    7.30.2020

The Truth: John 16: 5 - 15,....nevertheless I tell you the truth....when he, the spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth....

The truth is this, we all need, and must accept the saving grace of Jesus Christ. For without it, when our life on this earth comes to an end, we will be eternally separated from God, cast into everlasting Hell. Please read the scripture in its entirety, it is the truth.

    8.6.2020

Gods Divine Purpose: Psalm 24,....The earth is the Lords, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell there in....who is this King of Glory, the Lord of host, he is the King of Glory.

Everyone, everything, every event, every happening, is for Gods divine purpose of salvation and eternal life. Nothing happens, or takes place in this world that God does not allow, we must praise him for all things.

    8.13.2020

Experiencing our Salvation: 1 Corinthians 13: 4 - 8,....love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy, love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails....

We must not only accept salvation, but we must learn to live in our salvation, acknowledge our salvation, be obedient to our salvation, in other words, we must learn to truly experience our salvation which is in Christ Jesus.

    8.20.2020

Seeking Peace and Comfort: 2 Corinthians 4: 7 - 10,....but we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed, we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed, always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

In our life, often times, it may feel like we are losing ground. Seek comfort, not in the things of the world, but in the truth of Gods word. Rest assured, God will comfort us, but it must come through having faith in him and believing upon him. Peace of mind can only come through salvation.

    8.27.2020

The Vastness of God: Colossians 1: 15 - 17,....who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in in heaven, and that are in earth, whether they be thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist....

Most people, never truly understand the vastness of Gods mercy, his grace, his love, and his power, due to the fact that we only live in the moment of our own lives. Remember, our life is a life given unto us by God. Let us pray everyday for the ability to see the fullness of Gods salvation, through ourselves, in the lives of all of those around us.

    9.3.2020

Pray Without Ceasing: 1 Thessalonians 5: 16 -18,....rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God, in Christ Jesus for you....

Dear Lord, I pray for help with those things in my life that are not pleasing to you, I pray for those things in my life that are pleasing to you, I pray for leadership and guidance in my life, in everything that I do.

    9.10.2020

Giving God: Acts 3: 6,....silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk....

In this life that we live in, worldliness or sinfulness we receive, so worldliness we give. It is in our thoughts, in our emotions, and in the opinions that we give to others, all which drain us physically and spiritually. Let us learn to give of our salvation, and as Christians, began to rise up and walk, in the name and power of Jesus Christ.

    9.17.2020

I believe: Psalm 27:13,....I would have lost heart, unless I had believed, that I would see, the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living....

In all that is in the world, our greatest joy, comes through the most significant accomplishment that we could ever participate in, and that is salvation, our own and that of others, made possible through Christ and the cross.

    9.24.2020

Gods Testing: Genesis 22: 1 - 19,....now it came to pass....God tested Abraham....take now your only son, whom you love....and offer him....now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me....

God, today, is testing us, but he would never ask of us, to do anything that he has not already done himself. John 3:16,....For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son....What would we give up for his saving grace and eternal life. Not just for ourselves, but for all humanity.

    10.1.2020

Standing Before God: Romans 14: 10 - 12,....for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. For it is written, as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow before me, and every tongue shall confess God. So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God....

Daily, we stand for those things that may seem right, at that time, in our minds, but in the end, only one thing will matter, our salvation, which comes through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

    10.8.2020

You Choose For Yourself: Joshua 24: 14 - 15,....Serve the Lord ! And if it seem evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day, whom you will serve.....

We decide our own eternal destiny. This is the most important life changing choice that we will ever make. It should be made with serious consideration, as we examine, our own lives. Choosing wisely, brings eternal life with Christ, choosing foolishly, brings severe eternal consequences, forever in the torments of Hell.

    10.15.2020

Change: Genesis 8: 22,....while the earth remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night shall not cease....

Just as the seasons change, so shall the adversity in this world and in our lives change. Let us be prayful, not to join in, but, to overcome, to conquer, to be victorious. Just as day and night will never cease, so will it be with our salvation in Christ Jesus.

    10.22.2020

Putting God First in our Life: Philippians 2: 3 - 4,....let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind, let each esteem others, better than himself. Let each of us look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others....

We as believers, have always known exactly where we stand with God, in every situation, in our life, even though we do not like to admit it. Help me Lord, not to choose myself, over you or before others.

    10.29.2020

Is Gods Word, Our Words: Matthew 4: 4,....he answered and said, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God....

Following after the example of Christ, every comment, every response, every suggestion, with every breath, our words that go forth, should come from the word of God.

    11.5.2020

My Daily Prayer: Zechariah 7: 9 - 10,....Thus says the Lord of host, execute true justice, show mercy and compassion, everyone to his brother....let none of you plan evil in his heart, against his brother....

In the midst of all that is happening in the world today, help me Lord I pray, not to have a heart full of worldly emotion, but to become overflowing with spiritual compassion.

    11.12.2020

Revealing Our Salvation: Romans 12: 1,....I beseech you therefore, brethern, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service....

As Christians, we present ourselves with the boldness and power of God, always remembering that true boldness, comes through the humility of Christ and the cross.

    11.19.2020

Time of refreshing: Acts 3: 19 - 21,....….repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that the
times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord….

As believers, the hope of our salvation and eternal life, is our opportunity and ability, to see past the
trials and tribulations of this worldliness, to the times of refreshing that God has in store for his people.

    11.27.2020

Thanksgiving: 1 Timothy 4: 4 – 5,….for every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving, for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer….

Through thanksgiving, we pray that the saints may continue to give hope, and that the sinner might receive that hope. With every breath we take, we will give thanksgiving and glory to God, every moment of every day.

    12.3.2020

Cherish Life Eternal: John 3: 16,….for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, should not perish, but have everlasting life….

As we continue on through this holiday season, we see many changes taking place in the world that we live in. Some, that will affect our lives in a minimal way, and some may seem catastrophic and unbearable. Happenings in our daily lives only seem to be the way that they are, due to, that we are looking upon these changes through worldly eyes. As we continue to grow spiritually in God, we will see that, these happenings have been a part of Gods eternal plan since before time as we know it. Does this make these things in our life any easier to endure, only if and when, through salvation, that we trust in the Lord with our whole heart, understanding that we, as the body of Christ, can do all things through his strength. We must remember that the life that we live belongs to God, it is he who hath made us and not we ourselves. So, as we find ourselves looking fearfully at the changes that are going on around us, put faith in knowing that, God is in control, he has always been in control, he will always be in control, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Do not chose happenings or events in the world and pray for the outcome to be one that would be of convenience, but to pray that in all things, that Gods will would be done, for to his glory. Look not at the changes in the world, but at the eternal plan of God, and remember that the purpose, for all the changes that are taking place in the world around us is so that all might have life, and have it more abundantly.

    12.10.2020

Exchanging Gifts: Romans 5: 15,….but the free gift is not like the offense, for if by the one mans offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ abounded to many….

As Christians, we recognize, that this free gift of salvation, came at a great cost to, God  the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. A cost, that would never be passed on to us. Let us accept this free gift, of Gods love, his mercy and his grace, and share this wisdom, knowledge and understanding, with all of humanity, without worldly expectations.

    12.17.2020

Celebrating Christmas: Luke 2: 1 - 7,….and she brought forth her first born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger….

In the world that we live in today, mankind continues to miss out on Christ and his saving grace. Humanity is looking for a supernatural power that will grant their every desire, that will instantly solve all their problems, and that will allow them to live a healthy and prosperous life, with no expectations. This creates within us confusion which makes it very difficult for us to find that, which is a free gift from God. This is due to our desire to live our own life, with no boundaries, and no one to rule over us.

There is but one way to heaven, one way to be free from sin, one way to have a relationship with God, because salvation is found in no other. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind, by which we may be saved. Christ birth, his sinless life, his death on the cross, was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, overcoming death, and through his resurrection provided us with salvation and eternal life. Why not accept him today.

    12.24.2020

The Sign of the Christ Child: Isaiah 7: 10 – 16,….the Lord spoke again to Ahaz, saying, ask a sign for yourself from the Lord your God….therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel….

The word of God provides us with warnings of impending judgement, which is punishment for sinfulness. God’s word also sets forth a calling for all of humanity, to accept the saving grace of God, given unto us through Christ and the cross. Due to sinfulness, mankind has, down through the ages, passed through extended periods of trials and tribulations. But a message of hope was sent, which started with the arrival of God himself, born into this world as a tiny baby, that would become the ultimate sacrifice to save his people, and not only his chosen people, but all of humanity, of every kindred and every nation, that all the families of the earth would be blessed. God’s word is sure, his word is true, his faithfulness, his promises, are everlasting, and will reach his ultimate fulfillment in Christ.

As Christmas is fast approaching, as mankind prays for peace on earth, as we are all still learning how to turn completely to God, through experiencing warnings and judgements in our lives due to the sinfulness in this world, let us look to the word of God, and the reminder, that the Lord himself gave us a sign. And the government will be upon his shoulders, and his name will be called, wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of peace, and all that we need to do is, call upon the name of the Lord and thou shalt be saved. Merry Christmas.

    12.31.2020

Showing Our Faith: Acts 7: 54 – 59,….but he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, AND HE SAID, behold I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God….Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him….

Believers have, and always will, live in a world filled with trials, tribulations, and persecutions. It is how that we handle these difficulties, through our God given strength, that will set us apart from the sinfulness of this world. As 2020 comes to an end, I would like to express my feelings toward all believers, quoting the apostle Paul, I thank my God always concerning you, for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus….the testimony of Christ which was confirmed in you….

I personally want to thank God for all of you, that allowed your love of God, and the faith of your salvation to shine forth, so that we all, may be strengthened by your joy in the Lord. Happy New Year, and may God Bless you continually, with all Gods love, Pastor Tim Hughes.

    1.7.2021

Worldly Tendency: Isaiah 41: 13,….For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not, I will help thee….

Our worldly nature has a tendency, to seek its own interest. We must strive not to allow our human failings to rob us of the comfort of Gods dependability.

    1.14.2021

Our Needs: Matthew 6: 32 – 33,….For your heavenly Father knows that you need all things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you….

In our Christian life, we have both, worldly needs and spiritual needs that must be met, as we live our lives upon this earth. Trust in God, put him first above all else, and so shall you have peace of mind.

    1.24.2021

What God Allows: Job 2: 1 – 10,….and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord….Satan answered….all that a man hath will he give for his life….and the Lord said unto Satan, behold he is in thine hand, but save his life….

Colossians 1: 16 – 17,….for by him all things were created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth….all things were created by him and for him, and he is before all things, and by him all things consist….

As Christians, we believe in God, we have faith in God, we trust in God, we worship God, we have the love of God within us all because of Christ and the cross. Why is it then so easy for us to forget that nothing takes place in this world that God does not allow.

Ephesians 6: 10 – 20,….be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand….

    1.28.2021

Fill Me with Love: 1 Corinthians 13: 11 – 13,….When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things….And now abideth faith, hope, love, but the greatest of these is love.

Lord, fill me with strength, fill me with wisdom, fill me with knowledge and understanding of your word, but most of all, fill me with love, so that I may show your love of salvation to all those around me.

    2.4.2021

Spiritual Reasoning: Job 13: 17 – 23,….Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears. Behold now, I have ordered my cause, I know that I shall be justified. Who is he, that will plead with me, for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost. Only do not two things unto me, then will I not hide myself from thee. Withdraw thine hand far from me and let not thy dread make me afraid. Then call thou, and I will answer, or let me speak, and answer thou me. How many are mine iniquities and sins, make me to know my transgression and my sin.

There is a reason for all things that happen in our lives. Through prayer, and the word of God, we will come to understand what these reasons are, so that we may better serve God in the manner that he would have us to serve him.

    2.11.2021

Seeing Things Gods Way: Ephesians 2: 10,….for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them….

Our prayer is not that others would see things the way that we would see them, but that they would see things the way God would have them to see them, through his saving grace.

    2.18.2021

Well Pleasing in Gods sight: Hebrews 13: 20 – 21,….now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ….make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever, Amen….

For we must sacrifice the worldliness, in order to mature in Godliness. Help me Lord not to be a part of the world, but to be a greater part of you and your salvation in the world.

    2.25.2021

Accepting God: 1 John 1: 8 – 9,….If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness….

As believers, we cannot expect humanity to accept Gods ways if we first do not persuade them to accept God himself as their Lord and savior which comes through faith in Christ and the cross.

    3.4.2021

Humbly On My Knees: Luke 18: 10 – 14,….Two men went up into the temple to pray….The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.  I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted….

It is the power that we receive from God, when we humbly get on our knees in prayer, that helps us to overcome the trials, tribulations, temptations and the persecutions of this world, and, gives unto us the desire to continue to move forward in our life in Christ.

    3.11.2021

Who am I living for: Galatians 1: 10,….For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ….

We need to live our Christian life, not so that people will remember us, but so that people will remember Christ and his saving grace through us.

    3.18.2021

What Doth the Lord Require of Thee: Micah 6: 8,….he hath showed the, O Man, what is good, and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God….

The things that God has in store for us in our life, are far greater than anything that we could ever accomplish on our own.

    3.25.2021

Springtime, Seedtime, Harvest Time: Mark 4: 26 – 29,….and he said, so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground, and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself, first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come….

Just as the springtime rejuvenates the earth, so does Gods word renew our souls through salvation, so that we may grow to be a blessing unto others, and bring glory to God.

    4.1.2021

Who Am I: 2 Samuel 7: 18 – 20,….then king David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord God….and what is my house, that you have brought me this far….

In our life as believers, there will often come times, when we will feel the need to try and find ourselves. We begin to ask ourselves the same old questions over and over and over, Who Am I, what am I meant to be, and what is my purpose in life. This search is usually prompted in our life when we find ourselves going through trials and tribulations, and we find the need to explore our heart, and to identify with those things that we like or dislike about ourselves. Sadly, this normally will take place through our worldly emotional self, and the results are usually devastating, causing worldly fear and anxiety, which only multiplies the sorrow of the trials and tribulations that we are going through. Thankfully, through Christ, God has made for us a way of escape. Through the crucifixion and the resurrection of his only begotten Son, and with the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit, finding ourselves does not have to become such a difficult time in our lives. The truth is, who we are, has already been predetermined, even before the beginning of time. Our salvation in Christ Jesus will insure us that we are a child of God, made in his image, a reflection of him, all this for the glory of God.

    4.8.2021

Worldly Wealth, Spiritual Wealth: Luke 12: 18 – 20,…. And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.  And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

As a believer, we cannot, and we must not attempt to measure our spiritual net worth in the Lord, especially by what we believe to be the value of our worldly possessions.

    4.15.2021

Abounding Always In Christ: 1 Corinthians 15: 58,….therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, foreasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord….

God gave his only begotten Son, and the Son accepted the responsibility. Christ gave his life to pay our sin debt, and we must choose to accept the responsibility. As Christians, we give of ourselves freely in service to the Lord, so that humanity might accept the responsibility. All of this is done through mercy and grace, for the salvation of mankind, to the glory of God.

    4.22.2021

Working for a living: Colossians 3: 23 – 24,….and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men, knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ….

Are you happy in your every day routine. Our life as a Christian is all about how we look at the circumstances that we live in. So therefore, we find joy in knowing that our job occupation is working for Christ, and our job description is in helping others come to know him. So, no matter what circumstance I may find myself in, I have peace of mind in the Lord.

    4.29.2021

Selfish Desires: John 6: 28,….then said they unto him, what shall we do, that we might work the works of God….

Do I put my selfish wants above what God desires for me in my life.

My Prayer: Help me Lord to be what you would have me to be and not what I want to be.

    5.6.2021

Edifying The Body Of Christ: Ephesians 4: 11 – 12,….and he gave some, apostles, and some prophets, and some, evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ….

As believers, we all have the same heavenly instruction, which is the word of God. We all have the same guidelines and guidance in which to live our lives, which is the indwelling Holy Spirit. The difference in those who make up the body of Christ, is the application in which God has provided for us.

    5.13.2021

Believing in God, not in the World: 1 John 4: 1 – 4,….beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God….ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you, then he that is in the world….

Due to a world full of sinfulness, we will always be confronted with what may seem to be overwhelming hardships in our lives. As believers, we may rest assured that through faith believing, God is showing us how that we do not have to be a part of this worldliness, but we can be an effective witness of his saving grace to the world.

    5.20.2021

Jesus Is Lord Of All: 1 John 5: 11 – 12,….and this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in the Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life….

The gospel of the saving grace of Jesus Christ is very simple, and it is our own choice to make. We should therefore take a most considerable amount of time in making this choice. To reject Gods saving grace means spending an eternity in an unimaginable hell, full of torments. But, to accept this free gift means eternal life with God. Please choose wisely before it is everlasting too late.

    5.27.2021

Walking With The Lord: Psalm 23: 1 – 4,….The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures, he leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul, he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me….

Lord, show me the pathway that you would have me to go. Lord, put me on the pathway so I will desire to go. Lord, help me to follow you down the pathway so that we all might go. One of the hardest lessons that we must learn as a Christian is that salvation is not just about ourselves, it is also about all those around us.

    6.3.2021

Unspeakable Joy: 1 Peter 1: 7 – 9,….That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls….

It is only through the grace of God that we can truly have peace of mind in our lives, and this is due to the saving grace of Jesus Christ, which will bring about joy that is unspeakable to all, who are in faith believing.

    6.10.2021

Courage: Acts 17: 28,….For in him we live, and move, and have our being, as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring….

Anything that we do in our life takes courage. Courage comes through faith believing in oneself that we can accomplish whatever it is in our life that we have set out to do. Contrary to what some may think, faith believing can only come through God, which he gives unto us through Christ and the cross. So why do we continue to reject the one thing that provides us with that which we desperately need to live and to move and have our being. Please accept Christ into your life today.

    6.17.2021

Walking On Water: Matthew 1: 29 – 30,….and he said, come, and when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried saying, Lord, save me….

We all possess some of the same worldly emotional characteristics as Peter, which will cause us at times to take our eyes off Christ and focus on the storms of life that are going on around us. But, just like Peter, when we cry out to a gracious, merciful God, he will save us, by helping us to focus our eyes back upon Christ, and away from the temptation that hath so easily distracted us.

    6.24.2021

My Help Cometh From The Lord: Psalm 121: 1 – 2,….I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth….

As we pour out our hearts to a merciful, gracious, loving God, he allows us to understand through his wisdom and knowledge, that the trials and tribulations that are going on in this world, which affects not only our lives, but also the lives of all those around us, that all these things come into existence as part of Gods eternal plan. As Christians, instead of praying for God to remove those things, we must pray for strength to endure. This will not only strengthen us in our faith but, will prepare us for the things that will continue to happen as we live our life for him.

    7.1.2021

Gods Breath Gives Unto Us Life: Genesis 2: 7,….and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul….

As long, as God gives unto us breath to breathe, it is never too late. Never too late to accept him, never too late to serve him, and never too late to start living for him. The question that we must ask ourself, is when is it too late.

    7.8.2021

Do we judge: Matthew 7: 1 – 2,….judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged, and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again….

As believers, even though we are commanded not to do so, we judge, and when we do, sadly we judge others based upon that which we think that we see, outwardly. Thankfully, God judges us based upon his mercy and his grace, and what he knows to be inwardly, in the heart of mankind. Let us therefore have compassion that leads to salvation, keeping in mind, that God is the only one who knows all things.

    7.15.2021

Gods Best For Us: Proverbs 4: 20 – 23,….My son, attend to my words, incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life….

God only wants what is best, not only for the believer, but also for all humanity. Sadly, we seem to want those worldly things which are harmful to ourselves and to others. Through the study of his word, he will help us to see his purpose in our own lives, and he will help us, to help others to see his purpose in their lives, this is Gods best for us.

    7.22.2021

God be merciful to me: Luke 18: 10 – 14,….two men went up to the temple to pray….the pharisee stood and prayed with himself, God I thank you that I am not like other men….the tax collector….raised his eyes to heaven….saying, God be merciful to me a sinner….I tell you this man went down to his house justified rather than the other….

As believers our prayer life is very important. We must pray that the convicting power of the Holy Spirit will not only convict the sinner unto salvation, but that it will also convict the body of Christ. As Christians, we need daily conviction to continue to grow in faith, and to spiritually mature in the Lord. This will ensure, that there will always be a burden on our heart for the unsaved.

    7.29.2021

Searching For God: Titus 2: 11 – 14,….For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly in this present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for himself his own special people, zealous for good works….

All of humanity is, in great need of Gods saving grace. As believers, who have accepted his free gift of grace, we must continue to search for God’s wisdom and knowledge, to understanding. For without it, we can look around at the glimpse that God has given unto us, of what a world without him would be like.

    8.5.2021

Childish Attitudes: 1 Corinthians 13: 11 – 12,….when I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now, we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face, now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known….

What a glorious difference that it makes in our life, when we stop looking at the world around us through our own limited earthly knowledge, and we grow in our faith, and in our trust, of Gods unlimited knowledge. For it is only God that knows everything that there is to know about us, even those things, that we still do not know about ourselves.

    8.12.2021

Perseverance: Psalm 121: 8,….the Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even from evermore….

As believers, during our life upon this earth we will experience many failures, which is due to the consequences of the presence of sin in our life. We must remember that through repentance, mercy, grace, and perseverance, that these failures will lead to victories in our salvation, all for the glory of God.

    8.19.2021

Boldness in my salvation: Hebrews 13: 6,….so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me….

As Christians, when we are taught boldness in the Lord, through the obedience of the word, by the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit, it is not for the opportunity to portray our worldly, emotional opinion unto others, but to boldly stand, and to be a witness of the saving grace of Jesus Christ, to a world that is crying out for some kind of contentment and fulfillment.

    8.26.2021

Changing Our Behavior: 1 Corinthians 9: 22 – 23,….to the weak, because I am weak, I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you….

In order, to save some, we must be willing to change our own behavior, setting aside our own personal ways, in order, to lead as many as possible to Christ.

    9.2.2021

Bread and Water: John 6: 35,….And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.

In the life that we live, are we getting what we want or are we getting what we need. Worldliness teaches us that the more materialistic we are, the greater the happiness we will have. The truth is, all that we need is bread and water to sustain our life, both physically and spiritually, but we can only find the truth of this simplicity through Christ and the cross.

    9.9.2021

Eternal Prosperity: John 15: 13,….greater love hath no man than this, then to lay down one’s life for his friends….

As Christians, what is the secret of our eternal prosperity. It is to consider, and to value the soul of a man above ourselves. This means putting the needs of others ahead of our own, serving one another, just as if we were serving the Lord.

    9.16.2021

Wait and Listen: Psalm 27: 14,….wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait, I say, on the Lord….

Hebrews 3: 7 – 8,….wherefore as the spirit saith, today if you will hear his voice, harden  not your hearts….

We live in a world, where humanity waits for nothing, is afraid of everything, and does not listen, and therefore always lives in a worldly state of confusion. If mankind, would wait on the Lord, listen to his voice, and harden not their hearts, then could Gods saving grace bring spiritual peace of mind.

    9.23.2021

Recognizing our lack of spiritual wisdom.: James 1: 5 – 6,….If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally….let him ask in faith, nothing waivering….

Recognizing the lack of Gods wisdom in our life is a great step toward our spiritual understanding and maturity. The more that we grow in the knowledge of Christ, the greater our walk in the spirit and truth of our salvation will be.

    9.30.2021

Do we think that we have unanswered prayers: Matthew 6: 32 – 33,….for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you….

At times our prayers may seem to be unanswered, this is because God is keeping us from something that is not his best for us. Prayer is not asking, getting, or demanding, it is a conversation between the believer and Christ, in which he establishes our relationship with himself. What matters to Christ is, our truth and our honesty in our faith towards him.

    10.7.2021

Our Testimony of Truth: John 14: 6,….Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh to the Father, but by me….

Christ did not just say that he would show unto us the way, but that he is the way. He did not say that he would just speak unto us the truth, but that he is the truth. There is no way to live life, or to face death without Christ. We must seek to grasp the true meaning of what it is to be saved by grace and to allow this simple truth of salvation to become all that we are, so that our testimony might be true.

    10.14.2021

Worldly Stimulation or Spiritual Conviction: 1 Corinthians 2: 4 – 5,….and my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of mans wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God….

As believers, we who are of the body of Christ do not need worldly stimulation, we need spiritual conviction. Worldly stimulation only brings about emotional deception, whereas spiritual conviction will bring about repentance and redemption.

    10.21.2021

Warnings and Precautions: Joshua 24: 15,….and if it seem evil to you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom you will serve….but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord….

The word of God warns the believer against serving God only at times when it is a matter of convenience. We must pray for the strength, not only to show unto others the need for salvation, but also to be an example of how to live our life according to that salvation.

    10.28.2021

Wherein Does Our Salvation Lie: Psalm 107: 29,….he maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still….

God wants us to experience love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance which lies within our salvation, and our salvation lies within his Son, Christ Jesus.

    11.4.2021

Conviction by the Holy Spirit: John 16: 8,….and when he is come, ( Holy Spirit ), he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement….

Our prayer is that sinners will be convicted with the need for salvation, and that the believer will be convicted with the desire to be a witness of that salvation.

    11.11.2021

Seeking and Searching: Jeremiah 29: 12 – 13,….then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart….

We must do the Lord’s work, the Lord’s way because the greatness of our salvation lies within the mercy and grace of God and not within the goodness of mankind.

    11.18.2021

The Reality of Our Salvation: Hebrews 9: 27,….it is appointed unto man once to die, but after that he judgement….

Based upon the choices that we make while living upon this earth, Christians will receive the works done in the body, whether good or bad, and the consequences of those works will either be rewards or reprimands.

    11.25.2021

Do we abide in Christ: John 8: 32,….and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free….

There are many who truly believe in Christ as their savior, there are many who have trusted in him as their redeemer, and there are many who have placed their faith in him for salvation, but, not all have chosen to abide in the truth of his word, and therefore have become disobedient in their spiritual life in Christ.

    12.2.2021

Security in the Word: Psalm 40: 1 – 2,….I waited patiently for the Lord, and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings….

Humanity lives for the moment in their own worldly emotional state of mind. For this reason, mankind neglected the conviction of the Holy Spirit which is given to prepare the heart for our eternal destination. The word of God will teach us how to become eternally secure, by believing upon Christ, for once we leave this earth there will be no more chances to secure our eternal life with God.

    12.9.2021

Are we being misled: Matthew 24: 24,….for there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect….

The intensity of worldly determination increases in the life of the believer daily. Satan is constantly trying to discredit the truth of salvation by whatever means possible. We must beware because many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.

    12.16.2021

The Sign: Isaiah 9: 6,….for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, prince of peace….

As Christmas is fast approaching, as mankind prays for peace on earth, as we are all still learning how to turn completely to God, through experiencing warnings and judgements in our lives due to the sinfulness in this world, let us look to the word of God, and the reminder, that the Lord himself gave us a sign. And the government will be upon his shoulders, and his name will be called, wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of peace, and all that we have to do is, call upon the name of the Lord and thou shalt be saved.

    12.23.2021

Celebrating Christmas: Matthew 1: 22 – 23,….now this was all done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us….

What do we celebrate at Christmas. It is the season that reminds us of Gods kindness, his love, his mercy, his grace, and his power of redemption for all, and to all who will believe. It is this saving grace that motivates us as believers to show Gods love of salvation to all. We learn, and we teach the baby Jesus in the manger, but we must come to know him as our savior. The one who rescued us, by purchasing our salvation on the cross, so that we may no longer be separated from God. As we celebrate his birth, let us always be thankful for the great gift and remember that we cannot live like Christ, without Christ living within us.

    12.30.2021

A New Year: Revelation 22: 13,….I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last….

Even though, we are about to celebrate the beginning of a new year, this is not the beginning or the end for humanity. Christ has, and always will be a part of what we know as an eternal relationship between us and God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Christ has existed from eternity past and will continue to exist throughout eternity. There has never been nor will there ever be a time that Christ has not existed.

    1.6.2022

That the world may believe: John 17: 20 – 23,….neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word, that they may all be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast seen me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them, that they may be one, even as we are one, I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me….

In the world that we live in today, mankind is still missing out on Christ and his saving grace. Humanity is looking for a supernatural power that will grant their every desire, one that will instantly solve all their problems and that will allow them to live a healthy and prosperous life, with no expectations. This creates within us a confusion that makes it very difficult, for us to find that which is a free gift from God, this is due to the desire to live our own life, with no boundaries, or no one to rule over us.

    1.13.2022

Us in Christ, Christ in us: John 1: 38 – 39,….Then Jesus turned and saw them following, and saith unto them, what seek ye….they said unto him….where dwellest thou….he saith unto them, come and see….

Even though, at the time of our seeking God, we did not know exactly what it was that we were seeking, we did realize, who it was that we were seeking. When as Christians we ask, where dwellest thou, we are expressing to Christ that we have already started to have faith in our loyalty to him, and that we do not want to lose sight of the glory of God. We do not always know what it is that we are looking for, but we do know, that the answer is found in Christ and the cross.

Our willingness to Serve: John 1: 43 - 46,….Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Phillip, and saith unto him, follow me….Nathaniel said….can any good thing come out of Nazareth, Phillip saith unto him, come and see….

Serving God is first and foremost about our willingness to do so. Without a willing and submissive heart God cannot use us to accomplish his will. Our destiny is to follow Christ, and as Christians this is our primary purpose in life. Following Christ is a choice that all must make.

In Christ shall all be made alive: 1 Corinthians 15: 23,….every man in his own order, Christ the firstfruits, afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming….

Only by believing upon the Lord Jesus Christ can one have eternal life with him. Bearing spiritual fruit is reflected in our willingness to be obedient to the word of God. Our words and our works should always be for the purpose of glorifying God. We cannot bear fruit for the Lord if we are living apart from Christ. Our desire should be to accomplish as much for the Lord as possible, because this is God’s desire for us.

Life’s purpose and meaning: John 1: 43,….the day following, Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, follow me….

One of the greatest tragedies that we will experience in our life as a believer is to go through our life in Christ without discovering God’s purpose and meaning for our life.  We were created for a purpose; we were made to have meaning. Following Christ is a decision that each must choose to take.

Our position in Christ: 1 Peter 2: 21,….even hereunto were ye called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps….

Christ gives unto us an example of how that we should live our life, and that is not living for self-righteousness, but doing those things that are of the will of God. Our position in Christ is our motivation to live Godly lives, and a Godly life can only be lived as we are obedient to his word.

Suffering for Christ Sake: 1 Peter 5: 6 – 7,….humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God….casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you….

Our spiritual suffering is not a matter of choice, but the consequences of our faith in Christ. Suffering is real, but will one day come to an end, through our salvation. For this reason we do not pray for God to remove this suffering, but that he would keep us safe, and strengthen us through it.

Perfection through Christ : Psalm 139: 23 – 24,….search me, O God, and know my heart, try me, and know my thoughts, and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting….

Even though, as believers, we are to despise the ways of the wicked, we realize that we are not perfect. Sin is always lurking in our minds, due to temptation. For this reason, we ask the Lord to search our hearts, to know our thoughts, and to guide us through his word.

Christ came to serve.: Mark 10: 45,….for even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many….

If, we as Christians, truly understood the power of God, we would earnestly seek after his saving grace in our life, and also for the lives of those around us.

Excuses, excuses:  Proverbs 19: 21,….There are many devices in a man’s heart, nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand….

We must not allow our worldly challenges or weaknesses to become excuses and keep us from taking part in what God has in store for us to do.
